Evolutionary Algorithms for Cloud Computing Systems
in conjunction with
The 6th Asian Conference on Intelligent Information and Database Systems (ACIIDS 2014)
Time: April 7 - 9, 2014, Bangkok, Thailand
Website: http://www.ic.kmitl.ac.th/aciids2014/eaccs2014.html

Abstract
Cloud computing systems represent an emerging technology which allows users to pay as you need using high performance computing systems. Cloud computing is generally a heterogeneous system as well and it holds large amount of application programs and data.
Many difficult and complex optimization and learning problems arise in Cloud computing systems. This session seeks to promote novel research works using evolutionary algorithms to solve such problems. The following (but not limited to) issues of interest are:
- Scheduling in Cloud computing
- Optimization of public, private and hybrid cloud computing systems
- Learning application demands
- Pricing mechanisms in Cloud computing systems
- Cloud computing architecture
- Evolutionary algorithms and metaheuristics on Clouds
- Virtualization of resources
- Maintenance and management of Cloud computing
