Vessel and aircraft operations with focus on distinctive charcteristics. In regard of maritime transport management, emphasis is placed on charter party and linear structures, operations, and frameowrk for continued economic development under conference systems. Aspects covered include tramp shipping, liner service companies, terminal managment, containerization, freight-rates, as well as industrial and special carriers. In regard of air transport management, current planning strategies, future challenges, and technologies divised for airport development are reviewed. Topics cover technological advances in both air-side and land-side airport operatiions and management. Also addressed are appropriate documentation in maritime and air transport management and the function of intermediaries.
